Let’s discuss what management positions are available at the first level in each of your workshops! How exactly are the tasks divided! There’s a big difference between large-scale chemical manufacturing and fine chemical manufacturing, right? We have a workshop supervisor, an assistant supervisor, and workshop technicians. It’s large-scale chemical industry. The director is in charge of administration, the deputy director is in charge of production, while the technicians have more varied tasks to handle. Process technicians are also in charge of equipment, instruments, maintenance, and so on. This post was last edited by bingyu252 on 2009-2-13 09:24.]
In my workshop, there is a workshop supervisor, two chief engineers, an equipment technician, and a safety officer. The chief engineers are responsible only for the manufacturing processes, so the equipment technician has to handle almost all kinds of miscellaneous tasks. The management focuses solely on the manufacturing processes and not on the equipment
We have a director, two deputy directors, 2 process engineers, 2 technicians, 1 equipment specialist, 1 quality inspector, 1 payroll officer, 1 accountant, 1 materials manager, and 1 electrical and instrumentation technician. The director is in charge of overall operations; one deputy director is responsible for safety and equipment, while the other deputy director is in charge of the production site and processes. The most demanding role is that of the process technician, as they have to take care of everything related to processes
We are the supervisor, team leader, and safety officer. The safety officer is in charge of ensuring that those working the night shift get enough sleep; the team leader is the technician, the supervisor oversees the manufacturing process, while the team leader handles various miscellaneous tasks
Director: Manages personnel and bonuses. Deputy Technical Director: Technical issues in production, meetings. Deputy Production Director: Issues related to production changes, meetings. Deputy Equipment Director: Equipment management, meetings. Process Technician: On-site inspections, reports, process parameters, preparing plans. Equipment Technician: On-site equipment inspections, equipment reports, handling equipment problems, maintaining site cleanliness. Safety Officer: Safety in on-site operations, environmental safety. Training Instructor: Employee training. Accountant: Tasks related to cash handling, etc. Statistician: Collecting data on energy consumption, also handles warehouse duties part-time. See? There are too many meetings and reports; it’s impossible to get things done with so few people!
