Urgent! Sulfur gun nozzle clogging issue?

Dear experts, I hope this message finds you well. I am using a miniature sulfur combustion furnace with dimensions of 1.5 meters in diameter and 6 meters in length; the temperature inside the furnace ranges from 900 to 1000 degrees. The amount of sulfur burned per hour is between 300 and 600 kg. The atomization nozzles are purchased externally; they use a tangential feeding method, come equipped with a steam jacket, and have an outlet diameter of 2.5 mm. The nozzles protrude 50 mm beyond the refractory layer. Just 4 days after starting use, the furnace had to be shut down due to blockages that prevented atomization. Upon inspecting the nozzles, it was found that flaky substances were blocking the tangential flow channels – this was not caused by inadequate filtering (the sulfur used is of food-grade quality and was filtered through screens with a pore size of 0.2 mm). I suspect that the high temperatures caused certain impurities in the sulfur to caramelize and adhere to the walls of the tubes, thereby causing blockages. Do any of you have solutions, or can you recommend suitable nozzles that can handle a throughput of 300–600 kg/h? Thank you so much! Could it be that the piping wasn’t handled properly? This leads to the appearance of impurities.
It’s probably the iron oxide scale in the pipes; it is recommended to install a filter screen at the inlet of the sulfonation gun. A stainless steel wire mesh with a mesh size of 1 MM should suffice to solve the problem.

Does your sulfur gun have a thermal insulation jacket? I’ve driven 3 or 4 units with furnaces this small. There are no major issues with normal production; the concern is restarting after a shutdown. Because the sulfur in the sulfur gun cannot come out when parking, elastic sulfur and other substances tend to form at high temperatures. Therefore, as soon as the vehicle is parked, remove the sulfur gun, clean the sulfur inside it, and reinstall it before driving. It had a thermal insulation jacket, and it ran continuously after being started; it only stopped when misting became impossible. Upon disassembly, a reddish-brown substance was found on the tube walls and nozzles, causing blockages.

It is recommended to clean or replace the spare sulfonate gun every time it is parked.
Make sure to take out the sulfide gun every time you stop.
