The bkp file cannot be modified

I have a simulated example here; there is only one .bkp file. You can open it by double-clicking it, and then click Next to start the calculation. However, if you click on any of the pages inside (for example, setup) before starting the calculation, an error occurs and the calculation cannot be completed. I’m not sure what the reason for this is

I’ve encountered this too; the solution is to create a new blank ASPEN program, copy the components from the old program into the new one, select the same property values, and then copy and paste the entire flowchart into the new program. Now, you can make the changes. Hehe.
BKP is a backup file that is created during the generation of Aspen files. You can open this file and, in principle, save it as a new original file; by then opening that original file, it might work.
