The main function of CAD is graphic design; what are some good software options for 3D design?

Pro/E UG – it depends on individual preferences and habits; neither of them is easy to learn.
DWG can be seamlessly connected to Inventor 2009; both are products of AUTODESK
There are many professional 3D design software options, and they are all relatively difficult to learn; it depends on personal preferences. For those who focus on manufacturing (CAM), Cimatron is recommended.
Personally, I think SolidWorks.
This issue has been discussed a lot on the forum; do some thorough searching
PRO/E is good; for piping and similar tasks, use AUTOPLANT or CADWORX
SolidWorks is quite useful; with a basic knowledge of CAD, it’s relatively easy to learn
Cadworx, based on the AutoCAD platform, is fully compatible with AutoCAD and is easy to learn and use.
The undisputed leader in 3D modeling is CATIA; its position is unshakable. After that comes SW, followed by UG and PRO/E. Among the newer options is Inventor, which is easy to learn but lacks comprehensive functionality. Apart from CATIA, which doesn’t have any video tutorials, numerous tutorials are available online for those who wish to learn. If you want to learn 3D modeling, it is recommended to focus on SW and Inventor; CATIA is not advisable unless you are working at a very high level...
