Should you change jobs during a financial crisis?
I’ve been thinking about this too; it seems to have become more difficult:@
During a crisis, there are certainly fewer job positions and lower salaries, which makes changing jobs a bit riskier. It should be noted, however, that during a crisis, the organizations that need people have good performance, but they do not offer high salaries; yet they expect high standards from those employees. So if you have confidence in yourself and are sure about it, jumping isn’t out of the question. Any decision involves risks, so caution comes first.
At the moment, survival comes first; it’s better to focus on keeping one’s job, so it’s better to change jobs less often and wait until the situation improves.
Those with real strength are different; it’s worth taking the risk. With high abilities, they can go anywhere
I want to go back and work at home, but I still don’t dare to change jobs so easily; it’s very likely that I’ll end up unemployed. The risks are too great right now, so I’ll just wait until the end of this year first!
It’s better to be cautious! Avoid changing if possible! :L
