1. Request for help: On the design drawings of pressure vessels, there is a specification regarding the design pressure given as “F.V.2” +/−1.5% of f.v. (1.0 … 10.0 hPa). I didn’t understand what the original poster meant, a bit. F.V. on the instrument means flow control valve. FV=FULL VACUUM: full vacuum, meaning that the design pressure is determined as a negative pressure corresponding to full vacuum
What does \"full vacuum\" mean? I’m just starting out in industrial production, and I see this term mentioned on the parameters of many devices. However, these devices don’t actually operate under negative pressure. There are quite a few such cases – what’s going on here? Could anyone please help me understand this?
