Could experts suggest several fine chemical projects with good profitability, using products or raw materials from ammonia plants as manufacturing inputs? Thank you
I know a bit about some projects, but I haven’t conducted thorough market research, so I’m not sure whether the benefits will be good or not! 1. Recycling sulfur from the synthetic ammonia desulfurization system to produce sulfur is already being done by many factories. 2. Use cryogenic methods, pressure swing adsorption, or membrane technology to recover H2, N2, Ar, etc. from the off-gases of the synthesis system. 3. Recycle waste catalysts from ammonia synthesis plants, such as nickel catalysts for conversion and methanation, and copper catalysts for shift reaction. 4. Recycle the waste oil discharged by the compressor. 5. Develop downstream products of ammonia. During the production of synthetic ammonia, some dilute ammonia water is generated, and this dilute ammonia water can be utilized to develop various fine chemical projects.
