Length of the combustion flame for gas

Dear friends, the burners used in our industry now operate on gas as fuel. I would like to ask how to calculate the length of the flame produced by burning gas. Thank you all! ·
What is the purpose of calculating the burning length? I don’t know what type of furnace the original poster is referring to.
There are formulas for calculating the length of a torch when determining it, and these are also available on forums.
The furnace we use is a frustum-shaped one. Due to some issues in the production process, experts said that the design of our combustion chamber is too short; therefore I raised this issue. I hope everyone can help me – where on the forum can I find information on this topic?
By the way, the combustion of gas here is carried out with forced ventilation. When we used fuel oil before, there were empirical formulas available; but now that we’re using gas, I no longer know those formulas. Thank you all
