What should be noted when reversing a compressor under low production load?
Generally, it’s better to start with the backup machine first, and then use the current one； At the same time, try to open as many loops as possible.
Prepare the standby unit first. While starting the standby unit, reduce the loading on the main unit to prevent the compressor from creating a negative pressure. Integrate the standby unit into the system as soon as possible and disconnect the main unit from the system. The time during which both units are running should be kept as short as possible, as low loads can easily lead to negative pressure. Once the main unit is stopped, adjust the load on the standby unit to meet the system’s requirements promptly, in order to avoid significant fluctuations in the entire system
First, start the standby unit and let it operate normally; switch it on and off simultaneously with the main unit. Also, pay attention to changes in the mercury level and adjust accordingly one or two times
As long as the electrical load permits, start the standby unit first and then shut down the unit in use. When starting up, be careful to avoid too low a pressure; if necessary, slightly open the circuit of the unit in use. When shutting down, do so gradually, avoiding sudden openings of the circuits to minimize fluctuations in system pressure. Before the machine stops, ensure that its pressure has been reduced to a sufficient level, in order to prevent backflow of air after the machine stops from causing pressure buildup in the preceding processing stage.
