Oxygen content in argon

I once analyzed the oxygen content in a liquid argon tank by taking samples from the liquid phase, and the higher the oxygen content I measured (reaching up to 3 ppm),; I still don’t understand what’s going on I wonder if you guys have encountered it?
It might be that the testing equipment needs calibration, or it could be that your storage tanks are contaminated. It’s best to take multiple measurements!

Oxygen has a higher boiling point than argon, so it tends to accumulate more easily in liquid argon. The nitrogen content can also be checked; generally, contamination levels increase as a result. However, in meteorological conditions, the nitrogen content tends to decrease over time. Multiple measurements using an analyzer can be carried out to determine whether there is indeed an elevated oxygen level!
