The internal components of the Cassali reactor have the following advantages: (1) The gas flows radially through the catalyst bed, thereby reducing the pressure drop in the reactor. According to Cassali Company’s preliminary quote for this project, the overall pressure drop across the reactor is around 2.5 bar. (2) The ammonia net value is high, reaching around 18%. Make full use of the entire catalyst bed, including the top layer. (3) A method combining inter-bed heat exchange and inter-bed quenching is employed to regulate the temperature of the catalyst bed, offering flexible and rapid control. (4) The first and second catalyst baskets can be removed from the internal components separately; gravity sealing is used between the three catalyst baskets, while the third catalyst basket is fixed to the internal components and does not require sealing. The upper and lower heat exchangers are fixed together using gaskets, and a labyrinth seal is employed between the two heat exchangers to facilitate their easy removal.
Is there an internal flowchart for this tower? What are the disadvantages of the Cassali synthesis tower?:lol
I have seen pictures of Casali’s methanol synthesis towers; I just came across information regarding its ammonia synthesis towers today. As far as I know, Guochang’s products are quite widely used in China. Could the original poster provide some examples of manufacturers in China that use Casali’s ammonia synthesis towers?
