What purification processes are currently used for H2 in ammonia synthesis? As far as I know, there is low-temperature liquid N2 washing and pressure swing adsorption; are there any others?
There are also processes such as methanation and molecular sieve adsorption
The question isn’t very clear; if it’s used for hydrogen production, there are membrane separation and pressure swing adsorption – these two methods are the most commonly used in ammonia synthesis plants. If it’s for producing hydrogen gas, there are more options available
It depends on what raw material is used; in coal chemical processing, low-temperature methanol washing, the use of molecular sieves, and liquid nitrogen washing are employed. If it’s natural gas, then hot potassium alkali and methanation are used

Our plant’s purification section utilizes medium, low, and ultra-low shift systems, a shift gas tannin desulfurization system, an NHD decarburization system, an activated carbon advanced desulfurization system, and a methanation system. Following that, a molecular sieve pressure swing adsorption system is used to further purify the fresh gas before it enters the synthesis tower. At the exit of the synthesis tower, a membrane system is employed to recover hydrogen, which is then fed into the inlet of the first stage of the compressor. The manufacturers of diol also have low-temperature methanol washing systems.
