Is it possible that the smoke pressure is too high, causing frequent impacts? But the baffle should be made of steel, so it usually doesn’t break! !

The flue dampers in tubular heating furnaces are generally made of steel plates. Its damage is mainly due to sulfur-containing flue gas corrosion ; Temperature differences in the up, down, left, and right directions cause distortion and deformation. Maintenance is inconvenient, time-consuming, and delays production. Solution: Add 6–8 cm of fire-resistant cast material to the side of the baffle that is exposed to flue gas; this will resolve the issue. Our company has upgraded several pieces of equipment, and the results have been good.
It’s mainly secondary combustion; it’s damaged as a result of direct burning
Flue gas dampers generally don’t get damaged, right? If they’re made of steel, it’s unlikely that high pressure is the cause; I think it might be due to low-temperature corrosion.
Personal opinion: 1. The material choice for the baffles, or the manufacturer cutting corners in production; Stainless steel plates are made from carbon steel plates ; Due to sulfur-containing corrosion in the flue gas ; There is a problem with low-temperature corrosion. 2. Incomplete combustion occurs, with a phenomenon of secondary combustion present. The temperature changes frequently, rising and falling often. In the design of conventional tubular heating furnaces, the flue gas temperature is usually set above the dew point. Generally, there is no issue with dew point corrosion. It’s usually problems with operation and material selection.
