What are the current inlet and outlet temperatures of the expander? Generally, in the past, the proportion of expanded air fed into the upper tower could be as high as 15%-20%. The expanded air affects the purity of the oxygen and nitrogen products produced in the tower; too much or too little of it is not desirable. When high purity requirements are imposed on these oxygen and nitrogen products, what should be the appropriate proportion of expanded air fed into the upper tower?
This depends on the cold loss of the unit; the ratio you mentioned is not appropriate. The main reference point is the liquid oxygen level in the main condensation evaporator. (For reference)
