A post was made on February 10 regarding the unloading of methanol. Upon further consideration, when using train tank cars to unload methanol, is it in compliance with regulations for the railway unloading lines to be located outside the factory perimeter? Currently, the owner’s land area is enclosed by a fence within the railway unloading track. Can railway sidings for loading and unloading flammable, explosive, and hazardous chemicals be located outside the factory? Personally, I think this approach isn’t feasible, as the external conditions are uncontrollable during unloading. But I can’t find any evidence; I earnestly ask for guidance from those who are more knowledgeable.
