The job market is tough these days; it’s difficult for recent graduates to find work. Some choose to work in sales – those who have experience can share their insights! How to seize opportunities, how to build confidence: handshake Last edited by Laojiu on 2009-2-14 12:05]
“\"A knowledgeable person can never go wrong, no matter where they are,\" that’s what our boss once said. It’s better to stick to your major; it’s easier to get started. Sales rely on social connections, which is something schools do not teach.
It is very important to be familiar with the products being sold and to have solid professional knowledge. Of course, one needs to be easy-going to work in sales.
A knowledgeable person can never go wrong anywhere
Once, two people came to the factory; one was a seller of knives, and we had been buying knives from him. The other person was a seller of lubricants, and he was the friend of the knife seller. This pairing approach makes it easier to meet with clients.
It’s really tough to work in sales these days; the financial crisis has led to a shrinking market and reduced market shares. Everyone needs to make a living, and competition is nothing short of brutal!
The competition is more brutal than one can imagine. The pressure is so great that it’s hard to bear. The pain of failure can affect you for a long time.
Sincerity, patience, focus, perseverance
