Regarding the safety management system

Current safety management, including aspects such as quality and environmental protection, relies on various system-based management approaches or models. Regarding safety management models: the State Administration of Work Safety currently promotes safety standardization, as well as occupational health and safety management systems, HSE management systems, and even 5S and 6S management methods. There is a wide array of such management models available. I wonder which of these models you are using, and what are the results of their implementation?
At present, we are implementing an HSE management system and safety standardization, which certainly plays a positive role in a company’s safety management!
We implement an HSE management system, and we have also adopted Six Sigma; it seems that the management chooses whichever approach they prefer, changing it every few years, which leaves the staff at the grassroots level not knowing what to do.
The HSE management system and standardization are essentially one and the same system. In fact, no matter what kind of system or management model it is, as long as the management gives it proper attention, there are skilled safety professionals available to identify potential hazards, and no minor accidents occur, then everything is fine
We still implement a occupational safety and health management system; currently, we are working on standardizing safety practices, and at the same time we are also applying 5S, 6S and other management methods, with similar results in terms of effectiveness. Because safety management should involve everyone under any circumstances, yet in daily operations it is only the safety officers who handle it while other employees do not participate – one can imagine what the results are.
At present, our company is working on establishing a occupational health management system and safety standardization; the actual effectiveness of these efforts will be evident after they are put into practice.
Indeed, every system has its advantages and disadvantages; as those responsible for implementation, one should optimize processes and consolidate similar ones. Discard the redundancy; standardization and HSE each have their advantages and disadvantages, and moreover, the last page of standardization also points out the differences from other systems.
Every system has its advantages. It is sufficient to truly grasp the essence of a system. It takes time for a system to be established, to function properly, and to yield results; switching back and forth between different systems is counterproductive
Our company is currently implementing a Occupational Health and Safety Management System, which also incorporates elements of 5S and 6S; we are now working on establishing safety standards.
We implement occupational health and safety management systems as well as safety standardization; essentially, the contents of these two approaches are similar. However, many companies only go through the motions when implementing them. The former is aimed at meeting market demands, especially those in foreign markets； The latter is to meet **requirements. Personally, I believe that any system, as long as its contents are fully understood and truly implemented within a company, can bring endless benefits.
All types of systems are good, but in practice they often end up operating separately from each other. The challenge is to address this issue so that the implementation of these systems does not become a burden on the factory; rather, it should bring benefits to the company through their implementation.
