How often should cleaning and inspection of the Yokogawa Centum CS be carried out? Is it reasonable to carry this out once a year along with the major equipment maintenance?
Let’s make it once a year, over a longer period of time. We clean the FCS fan whenever we park here. It’s usually once every one to two months. There is still some gray. As for other less accessible areas, we just park there. For regular inspections, the team carries out one check per day...
Professionally speaking, according to Yokogawa’s standards, inspections should be carried out at least once every 2 years. Unless the environmental conditions are particularly good, extremely clean, free from corrosion, moisture, and other issues, the cycle can be appropriately extended. Doing it once a year is a bit of a waste, right? The Yokogawa inspections aren’t free either.
Yokogawa’s inspection services are indeed expensive, at 80,000 per time.
