SS might be some solids present in the raw salt; I haven’t really checked what exactly they are. It has no effect on the resin itself, but it has a significant impact on the electrolytic cell, causing the cell voltage to rise; if it adheres to the membrane, it can cause perforations. Wait, so SS must not exceed the limit.
Organic impurities are types of insoluble substances that can deposit in the resin tower, causing the resin to clump together and reducing the efficiency of the resin tower. Their impact on the ion membrane in electrolyzers is even greater! It will reduce the electrolysis efficiency~
