The material pipeline is DN25, while the jacket pipeline surrounding it is DN50. The material flowing in the pipeline is anhydrous piperazine, and the heat medium inside the jacket is low-pressure steam. How can the temperature inside the material pipeline be measured? How to install a thermometer? Note: Piperazine will solidify at temperatures below 110 degrees. If holes are made in both the jacket piping and the material piping, on one hand, the lower temperature indicated by the thermometer will cause the piperazine to solidify and block the pipes; on the other hand, inadequate welding techniques can lead to steam leaking into the material piping, resulting in substandard piperazine.
It should be possible to measure this using a thermocouple; the thermoelectric potential measured depends only on the temperature of the material and the temperature of the cold end of the thermocouple, and not on the temperature of the heating steam
It can be detected using either a thermal resistor or a thermocouple, but how is it installed? Because there is another layer of pipe outside the main pipe through which steam flows, it is difficult to drill a hole and weld in a protrusion for the thermometer; those with poor welding skills are also prone to leaks

How are pipes welded? The thermometer sleeve can first be welded to a section of cladding tube (for example, 100 mm), with welding performed on both the inner and outer sides to prevent leakage of the heating steam, and then the short tube can be welded using the standard pipeline welding methods. A flare pipe is required for DN25 pipes to install a thermometer.
