The 250,000-ton/year methanol production project operated by Shenning Company, which is part of Shenhua Group Co., Ltd., has recently passed the completion inspection. This is the first coal chemical project at the Ningdong facility to commence construction and start production, with a total investment of 1.442 billion yuan. The project consists of gasification, purification, methanol synthesis, and refining. The methanol plant is not large in scale, but it is of great significance. It is the first coal chemical project in the Ningdong Coal Chemical Industry Base in Ningxia.
