I would like to ask everyone for help in resolving this issue: What are the reasons for white and black smoke coming from the coke oven chimneys? What kind of smoke pattern and color indicate that the furnace is operating at its best? I hope someone can help solve this problem. Thank you all in advance. I’ve come across some of them; I heard that white smoke is caused by poor preheating and high moisture content, as for black smoke, I’m not sure! It would be best if no smoke could be seen coming from the chimney.
