The issue of steam for internal use in the drum

Why do some pipe sockets indicate steam for internal use? Does the steam drum need to use steam itself? It’s still marked wrong. This post was last edited by yps_78 on 2009-3-3 15:05]
It refers to the steam used by the power plant itself; this “self” denotes the power plant； Including: soot blowing, powder bin fire suppression, standby steam source for deaerators, and so on
Steam for the boiler’s own use. For low-pressure boilers, it is: 1. Soot blowing of the convection tube bank. 2. Used for bottom purging when the grate cokes. 3. Kinetic energy of the boiler standby steam reciprocating pump. 4. Heating use when burning heavy oil.
It generally refers to the purging of the furnace, used for soot blowing.
Self-use steam refers to the amount of steam that must be introduced into the boiler drum before lighting the boiler, solely for the purpose of protecting the superheater.
