Can the inverter start this fan?

There is currently a 7.5KW fan that attempts to start using a 15KW generator, but it fails to start properly. The rated current of the generator is 28A. Now, a 7.5KW inverter is planned to be installed; could someone please advise whether this will enable the fan to start properly?
The output current of an inverter during the startup phase is generally set at 1.25 times the rated current. The output current of a 7.5 KW inverter during startup is around 22 amps, which is less than the rated current of the generator; therefore, the motor can start when it is started under no-load conditions.
It should be possible to start it; with a generator of this size, the theory of soft starting makes it entirely feasible to start the fan, so there’s no problem at all with using variable frequency drive. It’s a bit difficult to start it directly, haha.
