What should we do if the pH values measured by the E+H pH meters used for troubleshooting are often inaccurate? The pH meters of E+H in our factory give incorrect readings frequently, and the problem persists even after replacing the electrodes. What is the solution?

How can I determine that the measurement is inaccurate? Is the pH meter selection appropriate?
1. First, check whether there is still internal solution; if not, please add more (usually the internal solution is a saturated potassium chloride solution). 2. Then perform two or three-point calibration according to the operational requirements; if the calibration rate is above 90%, it indicates that the electrode is in good condition. 3. If the correction rate is less than 90%, it indicates that the electrode needs to be replaced; however, it’s also possible that there is a problem with the transmitter (this is rare). If it is indeed a transmitter issue, it is necessary to contact the manufacturer’s after-sales service team. Personal opinion, for reference only.
First, calibrate the electrode, then check the applicable range
Another factor to consider is the type of water quality for which the device is being used; sometimes the surface of the electrodes gets contaminated, which naturally leads to inaccurate readings. For example, when we used it in a lime reaction tank, it was quickly covered with sediment, resulting in inaccurate pH readings

Our limestone reacts slowly and is often covered with sediment. Is there any good solution? Automatic cleaning systems are too expensive
There should be no issues with selecting electrodes for use in wastewater; if Memosense is chosen, it won’t be affected by humidity. E+H recommends calibrating it every two months, and replacing the probe approximately once a year
