Follow the maintenance procedures: visually inspect for defects such as wear, corrosion, or cracks; check the rotor for bending or wobbling, and measure the roundness, cylindricity, and straightness of the shaft journals. Also measure the clearance of the thrust rings. If everything is within acceptable limits, proceed with dynamic balancing. Assembly should be carried out step by step in the correct order, making sure to maintain the same alignment as during dynamic balancing. Additionally, each stage of the impeller needs to be adjusted so that it is aligned with the center of the flow channel, which can be achieved by adjusting the gasket shims.
Is it really that complicated? I just assembled and disassembled one today, and it seemed quite simple
