What are the consequences of low oil level in the steel rod-type coal mill oil tank?
The oil in the coal grinding machine’s oil tank is supplied by the high and low pressure oil pumps to the two large bearings at the feed and discharge ends of the grinder, where it serves to lubricate and cool them. As we know, the grinder is a large, moving mechanical device; a lack of oil can cause the bearing temperatures to rise, and under certain conditions this may lead to damage to the bearings. It is therefore necessary to monitor their temperature changes continuously during operation. Of course, oil should be replenished immediately if it runs low.
This kind of thing won’t happen, right? 1. The fuel tank has a low fuel level alarm. 2. There is a fuel level indicator, and workers conduct inspections. III. If the oil level is low and the pressure at the oil pump outlet fluctuates greatly, it will trigger the low-pressure interlock of the pressure controller.
The direct problem is a severe increase in shaft vibration, which can lead to the grinder coming to a halt. Such problems generally do not occur, as it is an issue that is extremely easy to detect.
