On engineering disciplines

Fields such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and electrical engineering are often mentioned – what other engineering disciplines are there? What kind of disciplines can be considered engineering disciplines? I’d like to know what everyone’s thoughts are; thank you.
The engineering I understand is turning theoretical concepts into practical realities.
Participate in this; nowadays many design institutes have been renamed as engineering companies. Can it be understood that this represents a professional technical discipline that bridges theory and practice? There are schools of science and engineering, research-oriented institutions and engineering technology institutions, as well as design institutes and research institutes. Design should focus on engineering technology aspects, while research institutes should emphasize academic research.
