If the gas contains a high level of naphthalene, it may be due to: 1. Poor efficiency in removing naphthalene during the initial cooling stage (is your initial cooler of the horizontal-tube type or something else?) ) 2. The effect of final cooling for removing naphthalene is poor. 3. The oil used for washing before entering the plant contains high levels of naphthalene; it is recommended to strictly control quality. 4. The temperature of the gas entering the benzene washing tower is too low, which causes naphthalene in the gas to be removed by the washing oil inside the tower. 5. A high level of naphthalene in the washing oil also leads to a high naphthalene content in crude benzene; moreover, the extraction of naphthalene from the side streams of the benzene removal tower also needs to be determined based on specific circumstances.
