If the pressure in the pipeline is 0.5 MPa, the heat exchanger’s processing capacity is 60 m3/h, and the flow rate of the liquid in the pipeline is 100 m3/h, then if a pressure gauge is installed before the heat exchanger, will the pressure increase?
No, adding a pressure gauge should not have an impact on the pressure; the pressure drop is mainly due to flow channel losses
