Operating procedures for the pressure filter and methods for dealing with common faults (Check whether there is anyone in the chamber before starting up). I. Operating procedures for the pressure filter: 1. Before starting up, the system must be reset first; the display should be set to automatic mode, the control mode should be set to programmed control, the operation mode should be set to normal operation, backwashing should be selected as the appropriate option, and feeding should be set to automatic. 2. During startup, it is necessary to check whether the operating status of all equipment is correct. 3. During operation, check at any time whether there is backflow, whether the liquid level remains stable (550–650 MM), whether the pressure difference between the pressurization chamber and the backflow area is stable, whether the material level display is accurate (it must be cleaned if it exceeds 1060 MM during emptying), whether the pressure of the sealing ring is above 550 KPA, and whether the readings from all sensors and the operation of all equipment are normal. 4. When parking: 1. Clean the filter cloth and conduct a hygiene check in the pressure chamber to verify that the filter cloth is not damaged, and check the operating status of all equipment. 2. Check whether there is a lack of oil at all the oil injection points. 5. In the event of a sudden power outage, open the manual butterfly valve in the tank to allow evacuation. 6. If the discharge cycle is too short (less than 90 seconds), reduce the opening of the manual gate valve for the lower filtrate flow. 7. If the moisture content of the filter cake is too high, increase the opening of the manual gate valve for the upper filtrate flow. 8. It is strictly prohibited to wait during the discharge process; if any equipment is operated manually during this time, it must be returned to its original state before continuing. 9. Inspectors should constantly monitor the effectiveness of the backwashing process; if no backwashing occurs, they must immediately notify the control room to carry out repairs. 10. The gap between the scraper of the pressure filter and the filter fan should be 5–6 MM. 11. When cleaning the filter cloth, turn on the pressure filter to check for any damage to the cloth. 12. If it becomes impossible to start all the equipment, check whether the RUN and CH+ lights on the PLC are lit, and ensure that the PLC key is in the middle position. II. Common faults and their solutions 1. The pressure chamber does not reach the required pressure (below 150 KPA): Check whether the manual butterfly valve in the low-pressure air duct is open ; Check the pressurized chamber for any air leaks ; 1. Damaged filter cloth or filter liquid pipe. 2. Pneumatic valve fails to open: Check for high-pressure air (pressure of 450 KPA) and ensure that the solenoid valve is receiving power (check whether the fuse XT11 is blown). 3. The sealing ring cannot retain air pressure: Check whether the manual ball valve is open and whether the solenoid valve is receiving power; if not, the sealing ring is damaged and needs to be replaced. 4. The upper and lower shutters fail to open or do not move to the proper position: The pressure in the hydraulic station is too low – adjust it to 4500–6500 KPA. Check whether the proximity switch is damaged or too far away; it needs to be replaced or the distance should be adjusted to 3–5 MM. 5. The display shows an alarm related to the scraper conveyor: Check whether the thermal relay has disconnected, whether the proximity switch is damaged, or whether the chain of the scraper conveyor is loose or broken; in such cases, the proximity switch, scraper, or chain needs to be replaced. 6. The display shows an alarm related to the main shaft: Check whether the proximity switch is damaged or whether the main shaft is stuck (due to a thick layer of coal pressing on it); in such cases, the proximity switch needs to be replaced and the main shaft needs to be cleaned. 7. No backflushing occurs during operation: Check whether the backflush diaphragm is damaged or whether the correct backflush mode has not been selected. 8. The gasket used in the pressure filter’s stuffing box is of type F19. III. Oils used in the pressure filter: 1. Dry oil pump: 0# lithium-based grease. 2. Hydraulic station: 46# anti-wear hydraulic oil (750 KG). 3. Reducer: 150# medium-pressure gear oil. 4. Discharge idlers: 1# calcium-based grease; the filling bolt should be turned inward once every three days, and after tightening it, it should be removed again to refill the grease. 5. The oil used in the dry oil pump needs to be monitored and refilled regularly; for other types of oil, it should be changed every three months during debugging, checked every six months during normal operation, and replaced once a year.
