Please do not post Chinese translations of software; it’s meaningless! The temperature of the trays decreases gradually from bottom to top. The bottom tray is heated by the heated feedstock entering it; however, in some cases, a steam coil (reboiler) is used to provide additional heat. As the hot vapors move upward through the tower, condensation occurs on the trays, until reflux occurs – that is, both liquid boiling and vapor condensing take place simultaneously on the trays. The vapors continue to rise through the tower, while the liquid on any given tray spills over onto the tray below, and so on, until the heat at a certain point becomes so intense that the material can no longer remain in liquid form. At that point it turns into vapor and joins the other vapors moving upward through the tower. In this way, the entire tower functions like a combination of several stills, with the composition of the liquid at any given point or on any given tray remaining fairly consistent.
