Female staff members should keep their long hair tucked inside hats. 2.5 The duty personnel must strictly abide by various rules and regulations, as well as all instructions and orders from their superiors during their shifts. When counting votes and repeating them, one must be serious and clear in speech; the operator shall not take any action until the supervisor gives an order, and no other unrelated tasks are allowed during the operation. 5.2.3 The supervisor must carry out the supervision duties properly; aside from offering assistance as appropriate when the operator of a particular task encounters difficulties, the supervisor shall not take over the operation or provide continuous help. Conduct safety and economic analyses to identify problems in a timely manner. 4.2 A comprehensive analysis should be conducted based on the problems identified during inspections, the information reported by the duty personnel, as well as the equipment’s characteristics, operating modes, seasonal changes, historical conditions, inspection records, and operation logs. This analysis aims to identify the weak points in terms of safety and economy, so that appropriate action plans can be formulated. 5. The main contents of the comprehensive analysis include conducting thorough safety and economic analyses: 5.1 It focuses on analyzing the accidents, disruptions, and abnormal situations that have occurred, and examines the causes of such incidents and disruptions, including errors in operations, the proper execution of work orders and operation instructions, the handling of equipment defects, deviations of operating parameters from specified values, and violations of safety regulations. 5.2 The economic analysis of the boiler operation includes an assessment of various factors such as coal consumption, heat loss in flue gases, mechanical losses due to incomplete fuel combustion, chemical losses resulting from incomplete combustion, physical heat losses associated with ash and slag, heat dissipation losses, the combustible content of fly ash and ash, the amount of coal required per ton of steam produced, and plant electricity consumption. This analysis helps identify the reasons for increased consumption and suggests measures to save energy and reduce waste. Section 8: On-site Equipment Management and Cleaning Hygiene Procedures 1. The duty personnel must always keep the control room, operation platforms, the zero-meter level surface, and all rotating machinery clean and tidy. Through regular inspections, any areas where oil is leaking should be wiped clean; the bodies of the rotating machinery, their platforms, foundations, and oiling areas must remain free of any traces of oil or dirt. 4. For the cleaning of the boiler itself, in addition to cleaning before and after major repairs, regular cleaning should also be carried out. The duty personnel are responsible for cleaning the areas under their responsibility, in accordance with their assigned duties. 5. After the maintenance work is completed, the maintenance personnel must clean the equipment in the maintenance area, ensuring it is tidy with no clutter piled up; under normal circumstances, the operators may refuse to take over for testing.
Boiler room shift handover system: 1. The boiler operator handing over the shift must conduct a thorough inspection and adjustment of the boiler’s operation before handing over the shift; the following conditions must be met before handover is possible: 1.
