The petroleum coke in the coking yard is managed in piles based on its grade and the time it arrived there; proper labeling and analytical testing are carried out. Coke that is in the coking area within 2 days of being produced is not loaded onto trucks, which helps to achieve natural water control. If the coke is loaded onto trucks first, it will take longer to control the moisture content
It is first transported to the coke storage area, where the FIFO principle is applied just like in the case of chemical materials. At least two or three days have passed since it was stored there and transported, so there is naturally no need to control its moisture level anymore.
