It has a lot to do with the on-site environment; we have replaced the cables that were used for gasification in our factory. During renovations, it is necessary to provide additional protective tubes for the cables, and the design of the cable trays also needs to be taken into consideration

Heat, cold, soil conditions, as well as the quality of the cable itself, can all cause corrosion of the cable’s outer layer. I believe that the design should take into account the operating environment of the cable; it’s likely that the issue lies in the quality of the cable.
Is it because the insulation material of your cable was not chosen appropriately, resulting in poor aging resistance or corrosion resistance? It is recommended that you check the cable model first.
There are two possibilities: First, the cable has serious quality issues. Second, the surrounding environment contains harsh substances that have caused corrosion to the cable. Or the high-temperature pipeline is too close to the cable. Under normal circumstances, there should be no issue with a decrease in insulation; the current in the instrument cables is low and the voltage is low as well, and there is no overheating, so the insulation itself will not deteriorate.
There should be no heat issues with the instrument cables; it’s possible that the cable trays were not installed in accordance with the specifications, or that they are too close to high-temperature pipes. Another possibility is the presence of corrosive gases in the environment, as well as quality problems with the cables themselves
