Do all chemical engineering design institutes now require a registered seal for drawings prepared by chemical engineering professionals?
The exam for chemical engineers has been held for several years, and many people have passed it; however, those who pass the exam only gain eligibility. The registration process **has not yet been carried out. It was originally said that registration and the use of a registration stamp would start in 2008, but for some reason, there is no news about it now.
At present, the role of registered chemical engineers is merely to ensure that design firms meet a certain number of such engineers when applying for qualifications in the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries; I believe 12 engineers are required for Class A qualifications. That’s why the matter of affiliation came about.

There are too many subjects and a wide range of knowledge required, but the depth of understanding needed isn’t very great. Examination subjects: Advanced Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, Physical Chemistry, General Chemistry, General Physics, Mechanics of Materials, Principles of Chemical Engineering, Engineering Economics, etc.
I’m also waiting to see; I don’t know **when the registration system will be implemented.
