What a good suggestion and what a great approach; today’s young people lack the environmental awareness and sense of responsibility that the older generation has. I hope more people will join, thereby raising awareness among people about the need to protect the environment.

Last year, I witnessed two such scenes at the bureau: The first scene: an elderly man who used to work in oil fields, from the Daqing Oil Field, came to us riding a tricycle he had built himself. He was very dissatisfied with the local environmental conditions, so he brought local journalists with him to meet our director. But for some reason, they ended up arguing. Since I was quite far away, I didn’t hear why they were arguing. Act 2: Due to the high volume of work at our office, our parking lot is too small; it is planned to convert the only area of greenery in the yard into a parking lot. On the morning of the third day of construction, an elderly man who was exercising saw what was happening and became outraged; he had a fierce argument with one of our directors. It seemed that this man thought you people wanted to destroy even such a small amount of green space. I really admire the spirit of these two elders, but it’s not right to argue with the director. While engaging in volunteer work for environmental protection, you should also pay attention to keeping your feelings of anger in check. Be sure to speak in a polite and appropriate manner! ! ! Here, environmental volunteers mainly go to scenic areas to pick up trash – those superficial activities – and they are completely unable to do anything about actual industrial pollution emissions.

The most common approach taken by environmental activists is to file complaints. If, for one or two times, certain individuals or departments do not pay enough attention to such complaints, they are not taken seriously, and as a result, the matters usually end up unresolved. However, as environmental awareness grows, many elderly people, primary and middle school students, as well as university student groups are monitoring and reporting environmental pollution. Through coverage by the news media, good results have been achieved. Moreover, the powers of various authorities are under increasing supervision by the public, leaving fewer areas for tolerance; as a result, there will be more and more associations or organizations of environmental activists. After all, environmental protection is a matter that concerns us all, not just certain individuals. Let’s unite to pay attention to environmental issues and contribute to improving the environment.

It’s a great way to show concern for the environment; citizens who love nature should take action, so that those companies that secretly discharge pollutants and those \"public servants\" who use taxpayers’ money without doing anything can see just how powerful we are.
