I’m asking those who know: what is the size of the connector for thermometers and pressure gauges in industrial boiler DN50 economizers? I know that G1/2' is commonly used for pressure gauge connections; I was wondering if M20X1.5 is available as well? The thermometer connector on the DN40 economizer is G1/2’, but I’m not sure what size it is on the DN50 economizer Is it still G1/2', or M27X2?
Specifically, you should ask the manufacturers of thermometers and pressure gauges. The commonly used thermometer thread is M27*2, while the pressure gauge connector thread is M20*1.5
The diameter of the pipe in the facility where the thermometer is installed seems to need to be at least DN80; a section of pipe designed to accommodate the thermometer must be welded on, and the M27X2 thermometer nozzle is still used.
