I am currently working on an engineering design, and I have encountered the issue of water pipes (welded steel pipes) intersecting with the existing cable trenches in the factory area. I would like to ask all friends from Haichuan for their advice: if it is not possible to avoid this intersection, 1) can the newly buried circulating water pipes pass through the existing cable trenches? 2. Is it clearly stated in that standard? 3. What protective measures should be taken during traversal? I am anxiously waiting for everyone's replies.....................
For this circulating water pipe, it’s sufficient to ensure proper insulation; there are no other specific requirements. If the circulating water pipe is constructed together with the cable trench, it should generally be buried beneath the cable trench, that is, at a slightly deeper level. If the cable trench already exists and a circulating water pipe needs to be installed, it is usually placed at the bottom of the trench. The circulating water pipe requires insulation, while in the cable trench, it only needs to not interfere with the arrangement of the cables
