Foreign catalysts – all Hoogovens catalysts from the Netherlands must be imported, and they must provide them! So after using their technology, it’s as if you’ve been given a lever of control over them; in the future, one must use their catalysts when replacing them, and their prices are exorbitant! !
The R&D institute of Sinopec Qilu Branch has developed the LS-941 H2S selective oxidation catalyst for the super Claus process (patent application pending). This catalyst is prepared using inert alumina as a carrier, Fe/Cr as active components, along with proprietary additives.
