There is an existing transmitter; after it is installed, both the pressure and temperature readings displayed by the transmitter are abnormal, and this also affects the proper functioning of other instruments in the vicinity. The gauge pressure is normal. What could be the reasons for that?

First, use HART to check whether it’s a setting issue before determining if there is a hardware fault.
Check whether there are any interferences such as electric fields or radio waves at the site. Our company has encountered a situation where, during on-site calibration of instruments, communication using walkie-talkies affected the transmitters
Check whether it is a power supply issue, or if the gauge itself is short-circuited, or if there is poor grounding in some areas
It is estimated that there is a short circuit or ground fault inside this meter, causing a voltage drop of 24V, which in turn affects the proper functioning of the other meters in the vicinity.
I don’t understand; if there is a short circuit, the meter will give an error alarm and will not be usable at all. Let alone lowering the voltage of other meters; if that were the case, there would be serious problems with the system design.
The instruments are grounded, and the channels of the system cards are not isolated from each other; therefore, this affects the instruments in the same group
If it also affects the adjacent instruments, then caution is needed. First, remove that instrument to see if the adjacent ones return to normal operation. If they do, it indicates a problem with the wiring of that particular instrument; if not, the issue might lie in the settings of those instruments.
