Please discuss, where was the hydrogen production unit of your unit designed and how is it used now? Which design institutes in China have better designed hydrogen production units?
Can you tell me which domestic design institute is authoritative in natural gas hydrogen production? Thank you.
Our device was designed by Luoyang Institute
Our hydrogen production is designed by Shanghai West China Institute, with a capacity of 10,000m³/h. The raw materials are natural gas, catalytic dry gas and liquefied gas.; The other set is 20,000m³/h, and the raw materials are natural gas and coking dry gas, which seems to be okay. Natural gas is a very good raw material for hydrogen production. As long as the hydrogen production device is designed according to dry gas, it can be switched to natural gas.
Does anyone know the design level of the hydrogen production of the Southwest Institute and the hydrogen production institute of the Fushun Institute?

Our hydrogen production capacity is 60,000nm3/h. The design unit is Luoyang Institute. We adopt the light hydrocarbon steam reforming-PSA route. The raw material is: Natural gas, PSA exhaust gas ; The backup raw materials are saturated liquefied gas and light naphtha. It's running fine now.
Our hydrogen production was designed by Beijing Research Institute, with a capacity of 20,000Nm3/h. The raw material is coking dry gas. It has been in operation for 16 years. The conventional absorption tower-regeneration tower removes CO2 and is in good condition so far.
Hydrogen production devices in recent years: After 2003, Sinopec Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company designed and introduced Germany's Lurgi 72,000 standard meter/hour hydrogen production device process package at Dalian West Pacific Petrochemical Co., Ltd.; Dalian Petrochemical Branch introduced Denmark's Topsoe 2* 100,000 standard meters/hour hydrogen production unit process package; Dushanzi Petrochemical Branch has introduced French Technip’s 80,000 standard meter/hour hydrogen production unit process package. In addition, Hainan Refinery 60,000, Xianyang Changqing 40,000, Luolian 40,000, Dagang 40,000, and Huajin Group 40,000 are all Luoyang Institute's own process technologies. Currently, they are designing tower chemical 20,000, and there are three small factories in Shandong that produce 20,000 hydrogen. Beijing Institute designed Shanghai Gaoqiao 40,000, and Shanghai Jinshan 40,000. The investment in hydrogen production is not large, and the design fee is not much, so the Beijing Institute does not do much. Luoyang Institute has a very good process plan for the reformer, which is to reduce the output of low-grade steam in the flue gas convection section, increase the preheating temperature of the combustion air to above 450 degrees, and save the fuel consumption of the device. According to the overall calculation, the additional investment in equipment can be recovered in less than half a year.
At present, hydrogen production units in refineries mainly use hydrocarbon steam conversion hydrogen production technology. According to rough statistics, the hydrogen produced by partial oxidation in global refineries only accounts for 4% of the hydrogen sources in refineries. The main reason limiting its development is that it requires a large amount of high-purity oxygen, requires the construction of large-scale air separation units, and the project investment is too large. The partial oxidation hydrogen production unit of the same scale is 2.5 to 3.5 times that of hydrocarbon steam conversion, but its hydrogen cost is low, which is the development direction of future hydrogen sources. Hydrocarbon steam reforming to produce hydrogen still occupies a dominant position in modern oil refining companies due to its low investment, mature and reliable process, flexible and convenient operation, and the ability to fully utilize refinery gas resources. Hydrogen production by steam reforming of hydrocarbons has been developed with the rapid development of synthetic industries such as ammonia and methanol. After more than half a century of industrial practice, Kellogg, Wood, Lucci, KTI, Topsoe, ICI, LIDE and other companies have made major improvements in the reformer type, catalyst, energy recovery, purification and other aspects of the hydrogen production unit, making the hydrocarbon steam reforming technology increasingly mature, reliable and flexible. * * improve. Domestic hydrocarbon steam reforming hydrogen production technology has made gratifying progress since the first oilfield gas hydrogen production unit was successfully put into operation in the 1960s. From the 1970s to the mid-1980s, large-scale hydrogen production units in Zhenhai, Maoming, Nanjing, etc. were successively built in China. The production scale was a single series of 20,000 N/h industrial hydrogen. The purification part used chemical absorption methods (low-change + methanation to remove CO, and hot potassium-alkali method to remove CO2). With the development of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology, the reliability and hydrogen recovery rate of PSA technology have been greatly improved. From the late 1980s to the 1990s, my country successively built several large-scale hydrogen production units in Qilu Petrochemical Company, Liaoyang Chemical Fiber Company, Dalian West Pacific, Maoming Petrochemical Company, etc. The purification processes were all PSA purification methods, and the pressure of the product hydrogen also increased accordingly. So far, more than 40 hydrogen production units have been built and put into operation across the country (including multiple imported units) with a hydrogen production capacity of more than 800,000 Nm3/h. In the past two to three years, 500,000-600,000 Nm3/h hydrogen production capacity will be designed and constructed, and the hydrogen production capacity of large oil refineries will exceed 200,000 Nm3/h.
Our hydrogen production is provided by Shanghai West China Design Institute, with a capacity of 10,000m³/h, and the raw material is coking dry gas. It has been in use for 3 years and has good operating results.
Shanghai West China Institute of Science and Technology, both catalytic dry gas and coking dry gas can be used as raw materials, but a desulfurization reactor is added during raw gas treatment.
Our two sets of hydrogen production units were designed by Shanghai West China Institute. One set uses catalytic dry gas as raw material, and the other set uses coking dry gas as raw material. It feels okay. Most of their designers are from Luoyang Institute, which can be said to represent the level of Luoyang Institute, and the design fees are relatively low. Don't get me wrong, no advertising intended.
Hydrogen production is already a very mature technology. All major chemical institutes in China have used mature technology. The basic principles are the same. Owners can choose from the nearest
