Anti-static Safety Management System 1. Appropriate safety measures must be taken in all processes and equipment areas where there is a risk of static electricity. 2. In areas where explosive gases may occur, ventilation measures must be enhanced to keep their concentration below the lower explosion limit. 3. Workers in hazardous areas should, as necessary, wear anti-static shoes and work clothes, or install facilities that facilitate the dissipation of static electricity from the body, such as grounding rails ; It is strictly prohibited to change clothes or wear clothing that may cause a noticeable appearance in the aforementioned areas ; It is strictly prohibited to scrub clothes with flammable solvents (such as xylene) in the aforementioned areas. The floor of the operation area should be covered with a conductive surface to ensure its electrical conductivity. 4. When operating or inspecting in areas where classics are produced, do not bring any metal items that are not related to the work, such as keys, watches, rings, etc. 5. It is strictly prohibited to store flammable and explosive liquids that are prone to generating static electricity in plastic containers. 6. It is prohibited to take samples, measure the volume, or insert metal objects into the tank (tank truck) during the filling of flammable and explosive liquids; measuring and sampling should be carried out after loading is complete and the mixture has settled. 7. It is prohibited to use steam jets to heat flammable liquids. 8. It is prohibited to use insulated hoses to insert into flammable liquid tanks for transfer operations. 9. In the event of machine failures, liquid leaks, changes in process conditions, or changes in the amount of material used, it is necessary to take preventive measures to avoid the hazards associated with static electricity. 10. It is prohibited to inject the solvent directly into the tank using a pump; gravity flow must be used instead. 11. When transporting flammable liquids, an appropriate safe flow rate should be selected based on the inner diameter of the pipeline and the resistivity of the medium; it generally should not exceed 1 meter per second. 12. Metal fittings installed on insulated pipes shall be equipped with a dedicated grounding device. 13. Equipment, pipelines, storage tanks, units, etc., for the production, storage, and handling of flammable gases and flammable liquids shall be equipped with anti-static grounding devices. 14. All anti-static grounding wires must be sturdy and reliable; the cross-sectional area of these wires should be no less than 10 square millimeters. The resistance of individual anti-static grounding wires should not exceed 100 ohms. When shared with grounding electrodes for other purposes, they must meet the technical requirements related to those other grounding systems. 15. The anti-static grounding wires for equipment, storage tanks, units, pipelines, etc., shall be connected separately to the grounding electrode or grounding main line; they shall not be interconnected for grounding. 16. For the installation of anti-static grounding electrodes, holes should be drilled and tapped at the bottom corners and edges of equipment, units, storage tanks, etc.; the terminals (or bolts) shall be connected using bolts of at least M10 size, and anti-loosening devices shall be installed. All of these components shall be coated with industrial vaseline ; When the grounding wire is connected to the metal pipe by winding, wax welding should be used; when welding terminals are employed, the strength of the pipe must not be reduced or damaged. 17. For non-metallic pipes (non-conductive) equipment, etc., the metal straps, meshes, etc. wrapped around their outer surfaces should be wrapped evenly against those surfaces and should be reliably grounded. 18. When rubber or plastic pipes are used for transporting flammable liquids, conductive rubber, conductive plastic hoses, or conductive rubber hoses with a metal braided layer must be employed, and they must be reliably grounded. 19. Flare arresters should be installed on the vent openings of production equipment and storage tanks. When the feed pipes enter from the upper part of the equipment, they should be extended as close as possible to the bottom of the equipment to prevent the generation of static electricity. 20. In anti-static production processes and areas, gear drives should be used as much as possible for mechanical transmission. When using V-belt drives, anti-static V-belts must be selected ; When using a conventional V-belt drive, measures must be taken to improve its surface electrical conductivity. 21. In Q-1 and G-1 class facilities, when the contact resistance of the connection flanges between pipes, as well as between equipment, units, and valves, is greater than 0.03 ohms, metal wires should be used for bridging. 22. In Q-1, Q-2, G-1, and G-2 classified areas, when the clear distance between metal pipes installed parallel to each other on non-metallic frames is less than 10 millimeters, metal bridging straps should be installed every 20 meters or so ; When the net distance between intersecting metal titles is less than 100 millimeters, metal wires should also be used for crossing.
