Metal valves must meet the specifications for industrial metal piping; what about non-metallic valves? Do non-metallic valves tend to get damaged during testing? Have you all had the same experience? There are many types of non-metallic valves, including those that are entirely plastic, those with a plastic lining, and those lined with ceramic. I’m not sure which type you have.;) I can get in touch with you to provide information on valves with plastic linings; however, I can’t help regarding those that are entirely plastic or those lined with ceramic
Thank you for your attention. There are many fully plastic versions, while those with plastic lining are fewer; the latter mainly fail strength tests.
1. For pressure testing with water, the pump from the existing pipeline can be used; the pressure should generally not exceed the actual operating pressure. Pressure testing may not be necessary for the vent lines, depending on the circumstances. 2. Conduct a pressure test using compressed air, keeping the pressure below 0.15 MPa.
Only a 25% sample can be tested for water pressure; air pressure testing is not allowed!

The test pressure for non-metallic valves generally does not exceed 0.5 Mp
