Selection, sleeve valves and the issue of viscosity

In the process of selecting valves, I often come across statements in some books saying that ordinary sleeve valves are not suitable for use with media of high viscosity, but no specific values are given. I asked colleagues around me, but I didn’t get a clear answer either. I would like to ask experts: under normal circumstances, at what value of dynamic viscosity, in units of CP, should sleeve valves not be used? Or share your experience. Thank you!
