Is the feed for the caustic soda storage tank introduced from the top of the tank or from the bottom? Why do all the systems I’ve seen require feeding from the top of the tank and discharging from the bottom? Please give me some advice. Thank you! !

Top feeding is similar to bottom feeding. For top feeding, the feed inlet needs to be inserted below the liquid surface, usually about 200 mm from the bottom
Then why enter from the top? Doesn’t that increase the amount of piping needed? Are there any regulatory requirements?
Why is it said that advancing from the top of the pipe increases the amount of pipeline used? The location of the feed pipe generally is not right against the ground. . They are all fictional. . You only increase the pipeline usage by entering from the bottom. Actually, I don’t think there’s any academic explanation for this issue; I simply think it’s more convenient to do it from above. Feed directly using the potential difference. If entering from below, is it necessary to increase the pressure or use a pump to force it in? . ?
Feeding from the top of the tank or from the bottom is both feasible; however, in practice, to facilitate both the processing process and maintenance, small storage tanks generally have feeding at the top, while many large storage tanks use bottom feeding.
Feeding from the bottom is actually the same as feeding from the top; either method is acceptable, and there are no specific requirements regarding this. I think feeding from the bottom is preferred mainly because it takes advantage of the pump’s suction capacity. Additionally, since some materials may be mixed with other impurities such as water, feeding from the bottom allows those substances to be drained out first.
It doesn’t matter, as long as there is no buildup in the pipes
