Have you used power transformers for converting 220V to 24VDC for instruments? Which brand do you think is the best? Where else in Wuhan can it be bought? What is the price range?
Previously, Beijing Yuan Dong’s EK series of DC power supplies were used, but later on Phoenix’s DC power supplies were generally adopted; they are imported products and should have good quality
Our factory used a variety of different products in the past, but after a few years we found that the OMRON S82 series was very useful, and now we only order this series!
We use Siemens SITOP, which is quite reliable
Siemens’ SITOP power supplies offer stable performance; those with a capacity of 5A cost around 1600 RMB
I’ve used Phoenix ones; Siemens ones are also quite good
Siemens is the preferred choice; other imported brands are also fine
There are countless manufacturers of instrument power supplies; a single power supply module can cost anywhere from dozens of yuan to tens of thousands of yuan. The choice depends on the importance of the application scenario. For important occasions, we use N+1 redundant power supplies, with two 22V AC power supplies; Siemens SITOP power supplies and Beijing Instrument Factory’s EK power supplies are also used. For powering individual instruments, domestic power supplies are employed as well.
Siemens’ STIOP series and Phoenix’s ones are both good.
Generally, I use Mean Well power supply modules; of course, for those that require higher stability, I opt for Siemens power supply modules.
1:1 redundant power supply – two 220V AC power supplies, both with alarm functions; in addition, there is a battery pack that allows operation for a certain period of time in the event of a failure of both external power supplies. HONEYWELL’s PM power supplies are the best!
If domestic options are chosen, Chaoyang Power Supplies are used for high-end applications due to their high reliability; their price is around four to five thousand (20). For ordinary use cases, the price should be around 1,000 yuan, and it will suffice for such applications. Imported products are more expensive. Weidmiller is the brand that gave me a good experience; Phoenix is also good, while Siemens products are widely used in general applications. Of course, the prices are all higher.
