How should the area between the fourth reformer, the first furnace, and the reactor be purged to make it clean?
During the drying period of the reaction system, dirt is introduced into the reactor (fan-shaped cylinder) via the circulating hydrogen compressor, and then it is removed from the reactor (a vacuum pump or vacuum cleaner must be used when the bottom of the fan-shaped cylinder is sealed).

It seems not easy to carry out blasting – should it be done in the direction of the collector pipe of the four-in-one furnace? 1. Strengthen inspections during construction. 2. Clean the inside of the pipeline before lifting and welding it, because it is unsafe and not guaranteed to be clean to try to purge it after the welding is complete on such a large pipeline; it’s better to address the issue from the start.
I’m dealing with those oil transfer pipelines right now; the inside has been cleaned and there’s no debris left. But will debris still appear when it’s heated to 400°–500°? And how do I clean it if more debris falls in?
For the pipeline installation of the four-in-one furnace, it is purged thoroughly; the reaction pipelines are cleaned manually, and the reactor is cleaned using a vacuum cleaner.
During purging, the reactor and heating furnace must be isolated. Due to their large diameter, the inlet and outlet pipelines of the reactor as well as the oil transfer lines require purging using the blasting method. The reactor requires manual cleaning and vacuuming. Heating furnaces are generally purged with air or nitrogen.
The plan adopted by our company is that once the pipelines are welded on the ground, the contractor is required to first clean the inside of the pipelines using a grinder, then vacuum them, and only after that proceed with installation.
1. First of all, all these pipelines are DN1000 or larger; before lifting them, it is necessary to enter inside manually to clean them, and a cleaning record must be kept. 2. After reversing it, start the compressor and use compressed air for purging, until the area in front of the plate exchanger is cut open; of course, the force generated in this way is quite weak, so the effect will not be very good. 3. After the furnace was heated up, debris was brought into the reactor and then cleaned out.
