How is the pound value specified for valves? Is it US standard?
It’s the US standard; the European standard uses MPa, and the two can be converted into each other.

The pound rating is a pressure rating standard in the US, similar to PN in the European standard
American standards are really annoying; they simply don’t use the universal national standards
Pounds are the pressure rating requirements for valves.
Whether it is pounds or MPa, both are nominal pressure grades that correspond to a specific set of temperature and pressure values; looking at the pressure alone has no meaning.
