Regarding the procurement of ethylene compressor accessories

Our company uses Buchhardt ethylene compressors; the initial equipment was purchased through a main contractor. When using them today, it is necessary to replace the wear and tear parts frequently. I would like to know which companies in China use this company’s products, so that we can learn from each other – for example, regarding prices, discount amounts, payment methods, and so on

For high-pressure ethylene compressors (such as those made by Buchhard, Sulzer, Nippon Pneumatic, Hitachi, etc.), the parts that generally need to be replaced are the packing seals, plungers, lubricating oil, etc. I know that there are only a few dozen of such compressors in China, and usually the spare parts have to be purchased from the original manufacturer, which makes them quite expensive. The lubricating oil must come from designated manufacturers such as Total or Shell; there is no difference in price between these brands. Another option is to purchase the parts from the original manufacturer, as these components aren’t produced by the compressor manufacturer itself, and this approach results in much lower prices. As far as I know, some spare parts for high-pressure compressors used at Yanshan Petrochemical and Daqing are purchased from the original manufacturers, because there are only two companies in the world that produce high-pressure plungers: Buchhard and Nippon Pneumatic, both of which use products manufactured by the German company TRIBo. They seem to have an office in Beijing under the name British International Compressor Products Co., Ltd. There is no other solution – don’t believe in any domestic alternatives, as such compressors do not exist in China. The above opinions are provided for the original poster’s reference
